The Free press recently put a poll out to it readers to rate a list of 13 famous redheads from around the world to find out who the most popular was. While we definitely do not agree with the redheads that were selected for inclusion here are the results out of the 838 votes cast:

As much as i love “The Flying Tomato” i think its a stretch to put him above one of the architects of the defeat of the Nazis in World War 2. Nor do i think Martin Van Buren would have been anywhere near the top of any kind of real list. Unless the Van Buren gang shows up at your door and threatens to ruff you up if you dont vote his way (however you can get around this if you know the special sign).

Shaun White is the “golden boy” of the 2010 winter Olympics in Vancouver and is highly favored to bring home the gold for team USA. He has won gold at the X games every year since 2002 and is surely going to explode onto the world scene at the Olympics. He was born with a congenital heart defect and had to invasive surgery twice before his second birthday. He is often known as “The Flying Tomato” a name which he used to embrace but has since become tired of it. He prefers the title “The Animal” referring to the Muppets character which shares a similar appearance with Shaun.

In 2009 Shaun had a video game released by Nintendo entitled “Shaun White Snowboarding” which was personally played and demonstrated by him at that years E3 expo in California. He is currently dating but refuses to disclose the girls name although he does admit that it is “Not who people expect”.
