Anne Lindsay is an artist from Seattle, Washington knows otherwise and has been taking photographis of every red head she can find for her upcoming book “Redheads and More Redheads”. She will feature photos and personal stories of people with any shade of red (so long as it is natural of course) from strawberry blong to auburn.

There are a lot of myths and folklore associated with this vibrant hue.

Lindsay has heard some strange stories in the process such as how we were once considered witches and burned at the stake. So far she has cataloged more then 65 people for her book but she is looking for more. She wants to feature 200 gingers in her new book and is calling on all redheads from around the world of any age or nationality to visit her website at annelindsayphotography.com and take part! She is paticularly interested in ethnicities that rarely have red hair such as African Americans, Greeks and Indians.

On May 14th she plans to host a redhead gathering which will include a slide show, photo exhibit and discussion about redheads as well as a talk on how to pursue ideas for books. Help this gal out and let her know your story!
