School administrators promised the parents that she would be part of a safe caring environment for their daughter who has a severe deafness and needed to wear a hearing aid in order to participate in class. They were worried that she might be singled out and bulled because of the special headphones she had to wear.

However within two months of the child being there she took a turn for the worse when their child came home crying and the staff had to admin that she was being cruelly bullied, however not for her disability, but because of her RED HAIR!!!!!! The 15 other girls in the class called her names like ginger nut and ginger bitch and even escalated to death threats. The girl had even tried to persuade her parents to dye her hair blond to no avail. Hopefully this doesn’t have to do with the latest M.I.A video that has been released recently, it would be a shame if it began to spread ginger hate again just like the gingervitus south park episode.

Prince Harry and Prince William Portrait

Prince Harry of England has expressed his displeasure at his portrait with his brother because he looked “more ginger there then I am in real life”. Sandy Nairne the director of the National Portrait Gallary and Nicky Phillips the artist that was selected to paint the portraits of the two princes disagreed. The portrait was unveiled earlier this month and received praise from casual observers. Readers of British newspaper The Sun also noticed that it was “a great painting and it does justice to both men”.

In 2007 Harry reveiled that he has always been teased about the color of his hair. His fellow soldiers have come to call him “The Ginger Bullet Magnet“, some of them joked that they would do their duty by wearing ginger wigs to try and confuse the enemy of the true identify of the prince.

Harry also noted that he was his brother had an exaggerated look as well with with the amount of hair on his head saying “William was already bald at age 12″. His comments came during his time in Barbados to launch the Sentebale Polo Cup.

In the End of Time, Part Two when David Tennant (the 10th Doctor) regenerated into Matt Smith (the 11th) he says to himself:

I’ve still got legs. Arms, hands, lots of fingers, eyes, hair…I’m not a girl. I’m still not ginger.

This episode seen by 11 million viewers caused angry parents to call in and complain to the BBC that the comment would encourage the bullying of their ginger haired children. While reading the statement doesn’t really sound as it was not meant as in insult it was actually a statement of disappointment. Despite this the BBC was forced to issue a statement:

We would like to reassure viewers that Doctor Who doesn’t have an anti ginger agenda whatsoever. This was a reprise of the line in the Christmas Invasion episode in 2005, when David Tennant discovers that he’s not ginger, and here he is, missing out again – disappointed he’s still not ginger.

They note that the Doctor has had a desire to have red hair nad have been a running joke since episode titled “The Christmas Invasion” in 2005.

This video is from a long time ago on Irish RTE TV but talks about redheads in one of our natural habitats: Ireland. There are alot of cute clips of little gingers speaking how proud they are to have the gene. But it also touches on the abuses that some of us gets. It kind of has me worried. As much as my last post was about how gingers are here to stay, the people on the ground seem to think that we are actually slipping away!

Virgin media in the UK was found to be prejudiced towards Redheads with their recent ad for “Dating in the Dark”. The Advertising Standards Authority said that there was an implied message that those with red hair (gingers) were unattractive and was likley to cause a serious offense. This comes as no surprise considering the rash of attacks – which received three complaints – said it implied those with ginger hair were unattractive and was likely to cause “serious offense”. This comes as no surprise considering the rash of ginger related violence over the past weeks and months across Europe and the United States.

The ad reads “How do you spot a Ginger in the Dark?“… Looks or personality, who wins?” The ASA was inundated with redheads who were angry that the commercial had been allowed to air and demanded its prompt removal.

Virgin unsuccessfully argued that the was nothing offensive about the commercial but instead “challenged people’s perceptions of attractiveness”. The Advertising Standards Authority ordered the network to remove the offensive material

Tesco Christmas Card

Tesco Christmas Card

Tesco has been blasted for the release of this insensitive Christmas Card. The card which reads “Santa loves all kids. Even GINGER kids” suggests that gingers dont deserve as much love as normal kids, which is not the message we should be sending with the recent violence against gingers in the news. The card has been removed in one location in York but is still available in other UK locations.

The woman who complained has two younger girls both gingers and have been subject to taunts for years. The children came home upset one week after being called “Ginger Ninjas”. While i actually wish i could claim that title myself the childen did not understand and were hurt by the accusations.

According to Mirror.co.uk Tesco was unavailable for comment.

A family are being forced out of their home by a gang of thugs because of their red hair.

Kevin and Barbara Chapman say they and their four young children have been forced to move three times to avoid the taunts against their red hair children. Beyond the verbal torment they have had their windows smashed, their walls covered in graffiti and physical assaults by other youths in the city.

Revently the Chapman family returned to their third home in Newcastle in the Uniked Kingdom to find the words “ginger is gay” painted ouside of their property. The last move was even done in conjunction with social workers, but the abuse has not ceased. They are now waiting on their city council to find them yet ANOTHER home.
