Julianne Moore was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on December 3rd, 1960. She becan an acting career when she was 23 in several minor roles before joining the “As the World Turns” an American soap opera. She won a Daytime Emmy for her work on thw show in 1988. During the 90’s she became to appear in film in a supporting role but received widespread recognition for her roles in several independent films such as “Boogie Nights”.
Julianne has also written a children s book about her life growing up as a ginger called “Freckleface Strawberry”. She followed it up with a squeal entitled “Freckleface Strawberry and the Dodgeball Bully”. She still plans to release films in 2010 but is winding down her schedule in order to spend more time with her children.
