We all know him as Carrot Top, but his real name is Scott Thompson born in 1965 and is mainly known for his prop comedy that has been featured in many talk shows as well as in roles in TV and film. His father worked for NASA and has a brother in the Air Force.
He started out doing open mic shows when he was attending Florida Atlantic University. But quickly became a household name after appearing on many late night talk shows. He says that his first prop was a neighborhood watch sign that he stole, see the video above for an explanation.
