Well it sounds like people are trying to shove it all under the rug as i suspected, M.I.A has had her new video Born Free banned from YouTube. The movie depicts minorities (in this case gingers) being beaten down by the authorities. YouTube is using their rule about scenes of nudity and gratuitous violence as the reason, but as I’m sure you all know if you really want to find either online, nothing is going to stop you other then being required to “affirm” that you are over the age of 18.

M.I.A is not taking this hands down and encourages people to go to her website to watch the video. We have put up a copy as well in case anyone wants to catch ginger violence here. I never realized before but the director of the video is Romain Gavras, son of the political film maker Costa Gavras who has directed a number of french films.
