Ginger Love

I just found an amazing discovery! A game where you work as a ginger to try and allow our species to survive. The goal of the game is to try and mate with as many other gingers as you can before the sun comes up. Because as you all know once the sun comes up our skin starts to become sensitive to the ultra violet light of the sun. You increase your chance of creating a ginger kid by mating with other red heads, but as ginger genetics tells us you can still give birth to a red head so long as the partner you find has the recessive gene in their DNA.

You can also pick up power ups to help you such as sunblock so that you can stay out finding partners later, and bag pipes to try and impress the ladies a little better. So long as you create enough gingers by the time the sun comes up you get to move on to the next level. Watch out however as some of the girls dont like red heads and wont respond to your advances. I just came up with a really simple way to find a single red head if that is your fancy…. Go to the source! As we explained before, some of the highest concentrations of red heads in the world is in the United Kingdom, specifically Ireland and Scotland. So we did a little bit of searching to find some dating sites that have their base of operations over there. Below you will find a few different sites that you can check out. The girl on their front page is even a red head so there must be more hiding behind the surface! While we are not offering any guarantee that your going to find the red head of your dreams on any of these sites, at least your going to find one or two of them!

Be2 has over 15 million members from around Europe and mind blowingly enough they have more women then they have men sign up! That can only be a good sign for your searching for that hot redhead of your dreams! The Gingervitus Virus

The gingervitus virus some people claim to be a parasite. Once it has entered the body it quickly spreads through out the blood stream and causes many different effects on the body including:

• Red Hair
• Freckles
• Pale Skin

Sometimes people with this condition will have an adverse reaction to ultraviolet light causing them to have to stay indoors during daylight hours only coming outside during the night.

Gingervitus can be contracted during any point during a persons lifetime however it is usually apparent soon after birth. Some people will not begin to show symptoms until later in life, usually around the time of puberty. This condition was explained in the South Park episode “Ginger Kids“.

Micky Roony as Kris Kringle

According to Micky Roony who played Kris Kringle in the Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town (1994). The story starts out as young Kris is left on the doorstep of the Kringle’s house who just so happened to be toymakers! When he grows up he wants to deliver toys to all the children in the nearby town of Sombertown. Of course there are all kinds of obstacles in Kris’ way but he is able to to Melt the evil wizards heart, and Burgermeister couldnt overcome his determination and the children of Sombertown got their presents for the first time. Only can only assume that Kris’s red hair disappear with the passage of time and now he is a white haired old man who delivers toys for all the good little boys around the world.

This video is from a long time ago on Irish RTE TV but talks about redheads in one of our natural habitats: Ireland. There are alot of cute clips of little gingers speaking how proud they are to have the gene. But it also touches on the abuses that some of us gets. It kind of has me worried. As much as my last post was about how gingers are here to stay, the people on the ground seem to think that we are actually slipping away!

A few years ago the media was reporting that redheads will eventually become extinct to the genes that cause “gingers” to have the red hair and freckles we all love. Some sources claimed that as early as 2060 our gene would be bred out of our genetic code.

The articles based their findings on the mistaken assumption that recessive genes such as the ones that cause red hair would eventually disappear due to the low number of red heads currently in the world. Recessive genes can become less prevalent but wont disappear completely short of every single human on the planet that carries the gene dies or fails to reproduce. Unless there was some sort of global event that killed off a large number of these people, red heads like you will be around for many more generations to come.

Some of the articles referenced the “Oxford Hair Foundation” as the source of the research. However any attempts to reach their website now automatically sends you to the homepage of Proctor and Gamble. A company who makes money selling many different types of beauty products, including red hair dye.

I for one plan on making sure that the ginger gene gets passed on whether or not this is true. We are a special breed and anything we can do to increase our population i am all for!

Isla Fisher in all her ginger glory

Here is Isla fisher one of our favorite gingers. Born in February 1976 in Oman where her father worked as a banker for the United Nations. When she was six years old she moved to Perth, Australia and began appearing in commercials in television there. She later went on to have roles in childrens programming on shows like Paradise Beach and Bay City.

When she was 18 she had already published two novels and had a role in the Australian soap opera “Home and Away“. Currently she lives with her fiance, British actor Sacha Baron Cohen and their daughter Olive and spend their time living in London and Los Angeles.
